 Solid Stains 

These one do not peep inside the deck. They remain on the surface and cover the grain. They are a good choice when it comes to hide discoloration and provide a uniform look. But these are easily prone to cracking, chipping and peeling.

Lifespan of Deck Stains

Generally, a good quality stains comes with a lifespan of two to three years. This depends on certain factors, which vary a little. If we talk about a worse thing deck stains are destined to deal with, it is direct sunlight.
